SparrowHawk
SparrowHawk™ is designed for use as a handheld CAD/AVL client. Automatic Vehicle Location positioning. SparrowHawk™ is designed for use with Blackberry devices running the 4.5 OS or higher. SparrowHawk™ Features include:
- AVL Solution. SparrowHawk™ sends GPS (internal GPS or an external Bluetooth GPS puck depending on carrier and Blackberry model) location data to the Phoenix® server allowing the tracking of the unit. It includes panic mode as well as the ability for the server to ask for the device's current location. It runs in the background even if the application is not started.
- Full Query Capability. Users can query local, state and NCIC databases. SparrowHawk™ can query vehicles, persons, guns, boats, articles, addresses and records with notification when results are received.
- CAD Integration. Users receive dispatch information as well as have the ability to add information about an active call, pull history on a location or suspect, and self initiate calls. For command staff, SparrowHawk™ also has the ability to dispatch units as well as view the status of units and pending calls. While adding information to a current call, SparrowHawk™ can also send a query on the entered information with a single check box click.
- Secure Connection to and from the Phoenix® server with 128-bit AES encryption of all communication. SparrowHawk™ is CJIS (2010) compliant.
- Full Interoperability with NightHawk®, Phoenix Wireless Data Systems Inc. in-vehicle Mobile Data Solution.
